Unified Communications (UC) is an
opportunity for enterprises to revolutionize their work processes,
increase efficiency and reduce human latency. Jabra offers handsets
which plug into the USB ports of laptop to serve as an audio
endpoint. These products are compatible and certified by leading
technology partners such as Avaya, Cisco and Microsoft. Our latest
product launched in March in New Delhi is a unique speaker phone
which is designed to connect to a laptop computer.

Marking the company's first foray
into the enterprise speaker phone market, the Jabra SPEAK 410 is
small, powerful and designed for portability at a time when virtual
offices and mobile workers are proliferating. It includes the
industry's only truly 360-degree microphone, allowing a group of
people to be heard properly from all around the device. The Jabra
SPEAK 410 was designed from customer input, based on their specific
needs in an enterprise speakerphone. The product includes simple
plug-and-play functionality for spontaneous conferencing and
collaboration, making your desk, car or home office an instant
meeting room.

With the high proportion of mobile
workers as well as growing number of SMEs and home offices in India,
the Jabra SPEAK 410 will be a valuable tool to simplify office
communication and improve business productivity, particularly for
businesses that don't have conference call installations. In both
office and home environment an emerging trend is the purchase of a
headset. For the office the headset is being used as an audio end
point for a Unified Communications solution, often built around
Microsoft or Cisco soft-phone clients. For home users, a headset is
indispensable for use with Skype, Google Voice or other communication
tools. We expect that UC will triple our addressable market in the
next two to three years and this will clearly drive sales of all
forms of voice related laptop accessories.

The birth of unified communications
solutions is for the sole purpose of saving costs, improving
operational efficiency and allowing users to enjoy a more convenient,
and fast communication. This is what is driving the growth of UC as a
market segment. Mobile computing is also a key growth driver.
According to Frost & Sullivan, the global market for tablet PC's
in 2011 is expected to reach 28-32 million units annually. Many of
these tablets will be voice enabled thereby driving significant
growth for accessories such as Jabra's Bluetooth headset.
