The much-awaited
'Electronics, Machinery, Mold and Auto (EMMA) Parts Expo India'
will be organized in Chennai from August 25-27, 2011.

As a foot-forward to
increase bilateral trade between India and Taiwan, the Taipei World
Trade Center (TWTC), Chennai, is organizing this three-day event for
the fifth successful year which is expected to house more than 180
companies from Taiwan. Shih Yen-Shiang, minister for economic
affairs, Taiwan, along with his Indian counterpart Anand Sharma, are
expected to inaugurate the event. Promoted by Taiwan External Trade
Development Council, a semi-government trade promotion body, the
fifth EMMA expo is expected to be a high-profile event.

Speaking to style="font-style: italic;"> The DQWeek,
George Lin, director, liaison, TWTC, Chennai said, “The key
objective of conducting this event is to create a platform for the
vendors. Visitors can directly interact with the representatives of
the companies which have stalled their products.” Lin added, “The
channel partners need not go to another partner while the suppliers
will mark their presence directly in the B2B event.”
