Tushar Das replaces Sanjay Maheshwari in Philips India

Tushar Das has joined Philips India from April 24, 2006 as Senior Manager
Distribution, the position, which was earlier occupied by Sanjay Maheshwari.

Confirming the news, Ankan Biswas, Director, Philips India said, “Currently
Tushar Das is looking after the position which was earlier handled by Sanjay
Maheshwari. We are going to declare this in few days through a press release.”

While Tushar Das said, “I have joined this position from April 24, but my
designation and other details will be decided in few days.” He further added,
“I am talking to all the channel partners from all across India in order to
get acquainted with them and to continue the work without any break.”

Maheshwari had resigned from the company on April 5, 2006. Another person who
had followed him was Nilesh Mistry, Western Regional Sales Manager who also
resigned on the same day. While the exact reason for their exits are not known.

Maheshwari had joined Philips India as Manager — Distribution, and was
respo­nsible for many channel-related activities in the company. During his
tenure, he successfully launched many channel programs including the Dhanvarsha
scheme, which was well received by partners across India. While commenting on
his achiev­ements Das said, “Sanjay was definitely a valuable asset to our
company and he had done great job during his stay here.”

Das has been working with Philips India since last 10 years. First he worked
for consumer electronic depa­rtment and then he joined monitor department for
two years.
