Sources reveal that the

California-based networking solutions company, TRENDnet, which deals

with VoIP solutions, switches, wireless accessories, routers,

Internet cameras etc is planning to enter the Indian market by early

March 2011. The company has already appointed a leading

Bengaluru-based distributor. TRENDnet has product lines ranging from

POE (Power Over Ethernet), modems, print servers, switches, network

adaptors, wireless networking, routers, storage, and Internet camers.

The company has established technology partnerships with AMD,

Broadcom, Intel and solution-based partnerships with href="https://www.dqweek.com/mumbai-bans-hp"> HP,

McAfee,

Vortex etc.

The company was recently

in news for announcing wireless Internet camera for enterprise-class

platform. TRENDnet has its focus on building affordable networking

solutions for SMB and home users across the globe. In April 2010, the

company had revamped its channel program by announcing various

goodies for its gold and platinum channel partners. TRENDnet has

3-tier channel structure — Valued Partner, Gold Partner and

Platinum Partner. The company has also partnership with Ingram Micro

Germany. TRENDnet had also appointed Convergence Networks as their

distributor for Malaysia.

With green being the

'buzz-word', TRENDnet has taken initiatives towards that front. The

company has developed an automatic power saving mechanism and

designed green swtich-based technology. This is said to reduce 70

percent of normal power consumption and usage of lesser cables. The

GREENnet switch also has an additional feature of standby mode, when

not in use. The current speculation in the market is that the

company might also forge partnership with Ingram Micro India, since

it has tie-ups with the distribution giant in other countries.
