Trend Micro takes partners to Bangkok

Trend Micro along with its regular schemes and offers has materialized an Incentive tour to Bangkok for selective channel partners

After having established itself in the enterprise business, Trend Micro aggressively looked at gaining strong foothold in the consumer segment beginning from January, 2012 in India. Being a channel-oriented company; Trend Micro along with its regular schemes and offers has materialized an Incentive tour to Bangkok for selective channel partners.

In August, 2012, Trend Micro introduced a new scheme for its resellers and dealers. The scheme proposed that dealers/resellers on their purchase of Trend Micro products worth specific amount or exceeding will get a chance to win a free trip to Bangkok. The scheme was valid up to specified revenue with a minimum purchase of TMS product mix.

"Our new initiative of offering a visit to Bangkok received remarkable response from our channel partners. We have now reached with its TITANIUM Brand to more than 200 cities with 5000+ active channel partner base within one year of its focused consumer approach. Out of these, approximately 400 channel partners have been short listed for this Incentive tour. This scheme was an initiative to further promote and empower our partners and simultaneously offer the best of value added services," said Rajat Sahu, PMM, consumer, India and Saarc, Trend Micro. "Along with offering the best of schemes to our resellers and dealers, we are also trying to keep pace with protecting the digital life and enhance and further establish the base for Titanium Security Suite. It effectively protects against all threats and lives up to be an all-in-one security suite," he added.

Trend Micro wants to ensure profitability of the partners and assist them in achieving this by selling world-class product. Channel schemes created by Trend Micro help partners make money and constantly design separate schemes for tier-1, -2 and -3 partners.
