Crises due to online market place are at its peak as it has created a lot of disruption in the offline business market. In response to the sharp dropdown of business by online business practices Naza market, Lucknow was shut down on 24 November 2014 by Vyapar Mandal of Lucknow along with support of other IT traders.

For traders the cause of concern is consistent decrease in sales which so far has affected 60% of their business.

Sanjay Gulati, president of Naza market Vyapar Mandal said, “Online business practice has mostly affected the businesses of computer and mobile traders working offline. Traders demand that strict action should be taken against unethical practices which are not only harmful for traditional market but also for country’s economy. With the practices of online selling duplicate products are also being sold which had created a miscommunication in traditional market.

Traders will soon conduct a meeting to discuss online business and a concrete solution which will be about co-existence in the market.
