Akamai Technologies has announced a partnership with TLabs – one of the largest startup accelerators in India, under the Akamai One program. The Akamai One program empowers startups to overcome the challenges that come with delivering secure, high-performing online experiences during times of exponential growth.

India is the fastest growing and the third largest startup ecosystem globally. In the last two years, there has been a threefold increase in the number of startups in India and this number is expected to grow to 11,500 by 2020. Last year, research by NASSCOM listed 3,100 startups in the country. The Akamai One Startup Program looks to align with the region’s mobile proliferation to help startups reduce the complexity of delivering high-performing web and mobile experiences with a robust and layered set of Akamai's proven CDN technologies.

With this partnership, startups in the TLabs portfolio will be able to leverage Akamai’s Web and Mobile Performance solutions, with no integration or recurring costs for the first year.
