Association) is now half way through its ambitious project called
'TITA Village'. The main aim of the 128 member association is to
provide every member with a small area of land to build a house. The
offices of all members are connected through Centrex
color="#000000">
style="font-style: normal;">
(like EPABX), where
the association moderates group emails. P Shanmugam, president, TITA
said, “We have done a lot of activities last year and will continue
to do so. In my tenure, I would work towards getting vendors to our
city and focus on local dealers.”
TITA under the insurance
scheme has insured a total of 503 members including the staff.
Recently, a free service training program was conducted to spread
awareness about computer virus. A Sivaprakash, secretary, TITA said,
“We donated free computers to a nearby government school and
promised them with life time support. This will help poor children to
get access to computers. This was a social welfare initiative
undertaken by the previous board.”
