TITA organized 'Khel Utsav - 2015'

The Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) organized grand sports and culture festival 'Khel Utsav - 2015' in association with Telangana PETs Association for school students on the eve of Independence Day Week.

To celebrate the success of the students who have scaled great heights in 'TITA Khel Utsav - 2015', TITA organized the 'Prize Distribution Ceremony' at Praveen Gardens, Kukatpally, Hyderabad.  More than 14 schools participated in this event.

"We take pride in recognizing and rewarding the efforts of every dedicated student. TITA will come up with many such activities to encourage school students in sports." said TITA President Sundeep Kumar Makthala.

"Keeping kids active at school is a superb way to increase learning, focus and even test results. We have to encourage our children to stay active after school and on weekends in order to reap the wonderful brain-boosting benefits that exercise has to offer. TITA request all the schools to be very strict on Physical Education." said TITA Membership Committee Vice Chairman Swamy Deva.

Mahadev, PET Association President demanded Government for a separate subject of 'Physical Education' with weightage of marks in School Academic Curriculum.

International Power Lifter Srisailam Yadav, National Power Lifter Sampath Kumar Makthala, Jeeth Rao, Raju, Srinivas, Praveen Yadav, Chinna, Mangamma, TITA Executive Member G. Suresh, PETs Paparao, Santosh, Vasu, Venu and others participated in the event.
