TITA meets Telangana state planning commission to discuss Smart cities

Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) team met and congratulated recently appointed vice chairman, Telangana State Planning Commission (TSPC) Singireddy Niranjan Reddy. TITA requested TSPC vice chairman to plan for developing second rung cities like Warangal and Karimnagar as smart cities to attract IT investments.

In conversation with the members of Telangana Information Technology Association, S. Niranjan Reddy assured that Telangana State Planning Commission will play a key role in developing Telangana IT Industry with new strategies and better planning. Telangana government will be utilizing every opportunity to achieve the promised ‘Golden Telangana’. “We congratulate and thank Telangana government for appointing a dynamic person as a vice chairman of TSPC, who had played a prominent role in Telangana movement” said TITA.

TITA requested Singireddy Niranjan Reddy to give top priority for developing Tier-II cities. As a lot of IT professionals in various domains now belong to those cities. The visibility of these cities as an IT destination should be re-invigorated with the government focusing on creation of plug and play infrastructure providing a right IT ecosystem. TITA appreciated Telangana government’s initiation of T-HUB, the country’s largest start-up incubation center at IIIT and requested to plan such hubs in Tier II cities also” said TITA founder and president, Sundeep Kumar Makthala.
