Theft at Compro showroom

On Sunday morning the Compro Computers employees were in for a rude shock
when they found their PCs and locker having Rs 1.6 lakh worth of cash missing.
This happened at their Tata Indicom showroom based at South Patel Nagar.

Informed Pankaj Bandlish, Director, Compro Computers, "On Saturday
evening we left at midnight after packing some delivery orders. On Sunday
morning one of the employees noticed that the lock at the door of the backside
entrance of the showroom was broken along with another wooden door. And all the
five PCs along with the locker were missing. Everything else was untouched like
the instruments, probably they knew it was not saleable in the market."

Though Pankaj has launch-ed an FIR but he is not very optimistic about the
whole affair getting resolved. He also commented on a similar incident occurring
at another Tata Indicom showroom in the vicinity. "I am told that a similar
theft had occurred at this place some time back which suggests an organized
criminal group."

To be more careful in future, Bandlish is now planning to appoint a watch
guard for the showroom. "Earlier our society used to have a watch guard who
left sometime back and since then there is none but now I will keep a personal
watch guard for the showroom."
