The 2012-13 EC members of Confed-ITA may use their mobile phones for any purpose, but definitely not for the early-morning alarm. They know that almost every morning they will get a call from their president B.Kuberan, who is handing over his leadership to the next team.
Even though there were mixed feedbacks during his presidential tenure, there is no second thought that Kuberan had taken the association to the next-level. He has travelled length and breadth of the state and met all his members and needless to tell, he has been invited by associations in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. He also played key role in forming an association in the South India level.
Apart from bringing common service tarrif, the CUG scheme has gained positive response from everyone as beyond association, the members is connected each other both officially or personally and everyone do make use of the facility. On the business side, Kuberan claims he has solved the MRP issues with DELL and Canon, online notification problem with K7 and service issues in Seagate.
Beyond that, on the member-welfare activities, the insurance scheme was well-executed. Kuberan himself has personally met the spouse/heirs of the members who had lost their life and handed over the insurance money. Starting with mass prayers conducted for all-religion, Kuberan has also actively mooted out many CSR activities that includes blood camp, master health check-up, free food for orphans.
