Partner Summit (MPS) held in Mumbai recently,
Microsoft honored its best performing partners for demonstrating
significant customer impact by developing and delivering innovative
solutions that help customers drive their businesses forward over the
last year. Jon Roskill, Corporate VP-Worldwide Partner Group,
Microsoft was present at the occasion to give away the awards. The
theme this year was 'Leading with the Future' with the focus
clearly on the cloud and the exciting next level of business growth
it represents for the Microsoft partners.
The MPS offers a
platform to the Microsoft partner community to meet and network with
industry peers and Microsoft business leaders representing SMS&P,
EPG, PS and OEM business groups. It also showcases a sneak preview of
path breaking Microsoft technologies along with session with experts.
The event also acknowledges the contribution of the partner to the
Microsoft business across the year. Expressing his enthusiasm
at being with the vibrant partner community to celebrate their
success Rajeev Mittal, Group Director-Small and Medium Enterprises,
Microsoft India stated, “The Partner Summit, is the time for us to
get together with our partner community to celebrate their
achievements. Our success is dependent upon the commitment of our
partners, our winners demonstrate this commitment by delivering
innovative and impactful solutions that provide value to customers in
India across all industries, from manufacturing to retail. The awards
are our effort to thank our partners for their dedication to
Microsoft.” At MPS this year 15 partners were honored with
the Microsoft Partners 2010 Awards.
year was the twelfth edition of 'Microsoft Partner Summit' which
leveraged the excitement of undertaking the journey to the cloud.
