This news may raise the eyebrows of many as an association which is often stated as the ‘most inactive' association these days, had made a full-stop to all such internal gossips. The new team has N.Sambandamurthy, to head the association for the second time as the president. The other members include S.Srikanth (Vice-President), S.Arul Arokiaraj (Secretary), M.Rajesh (Joint Secretary), M.Akila Mathi (Treasurer). T.Rajesh and K.Nagaraju are the EC members.
Many members who had been inactive these days have come together to make the association more active in the coming days. "Yes. There were many reasons that we were not able to perform as expected. However, we will be active in the coming days", said Arul Arokkiyaraj, Secretary of the association. "Without awareness and knowledge, we cannot do anything. So, awareness is the key objective on both professional and personal front. We are plans for interacting with vendors for conducting training sessions not limited to the regular-stuff, but on a higher-end. We think that by enhancing the knowledge, our members will slowly look into the opportunities in the region" Arul said further adding that the each association member will undertake one village and will provide service for the computer-owning underprivileged school children at free-of-cost. "There are lot of school-goers with zero-knowledge of why they have a computer and what has to be done if they have any problem. Social activities like blood-camp are conducted for our members through their other social clubs. So, we will do our social activity through technology", Arul concluded. Arul also noted that the Thanjavur association will support Confed-ITA for all its efforts and will make use of the funds in a proper manner.
"We will definitely plan for increasing the members and will plan for conducting an IT expo. We are completely new and a bunch fresh blood is injected into the association", said K Nagaraju, former secretary.
