Tech Zone would be the first exclusive gadget store in India. Initiated by Chennai-based Texonic Instruments, the first gadget store has been opened in Chennai at the posh Spencer Plaza. The company is appointing franchisees to open similar gadget stores in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore and
Coimbatore.

"Every country has an exclusive gadget shop. But in India nobody is in this frame and we are the first one to enter this trade. Here we are concentrating on those gadgets
that one would find only in foreign countries. The products are directly being imported from manufacturers based in Taiwan, Czechoslovakia, US, Italy, Hongkong, Korea and China," said Naveen Bhandari, partner, Texonic Instruments. Tech Zone caters to digital home products, touch screen remote controls, wireless cameras, voice recording pens, spy cams a.k.a. Tehlka cameras, currency counting machines, wireless home security products, special cellular accessories etc. Tech Zone has close to 250 products in display. "We have already planned what products should come for the first one year. So every ten days we have new arrivals in the store from our sources. The response from the customers is overwhelming. We are getting high caliber customers who come back again to purchase. We are not applying any marketing strategy. Those with a passion for gadgets will visit us again," said
Naveen.
