Telangana Digithon reaches at Nalgonda

As a part of “Telangana Digithon” initiative, Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) in association with Sri Venkateswara College organized one day workshop on Emerging Technologies in Nalgonda. The event organized on under the banner of ‘Telangana YUVA Nirmaan’ Thursday received good response from students.

Osmania Graduates Association (OGA) president P. Harinath Reddy, Suryapet Muncipal Chairperson G Pravalika, Exhibition Society Vice President Anil Mishra, SV College Chairman Dr. NVV Charyulu and TITA Vice President Ranapratap Bojjam inaugurated the workshop.

IT Experts Srinivas Bhusarapu interacted with students on Cyber Security.  TITA trained nearly 1100 Digital Leaders. All the participants in the workshop opened Digital Lockers.

TITA’s ‘Telangana Digithon’ is aimed at narrowing the digital literacy gap that persists in Telangana State by providing digital literacy trainers called ‘Digital Leaders’ with an easy-to-use platform for digital training and generously share their knowledge and experience with learners all over the state who desire a better livelihood in this digital world. Digital Leaders will follow a fully-developed curriculum to teach.

“We are proud to release this new platform designed for Digital Leaders who will be in a position to provide digital training to vulnerable populations. This diverse knowledge community that comes together for Digital Literacy mission enables us to engage as trainers in preparing people who are not connected to Digital Tools and platforms which improves their quality of living” said TITA Vice President Ranapratap Bojjam.

TITA President Sundeep Kumar Makthala released appointment letters for TITA - SVC Student Chapter office bearers. K.Shireesha of MBA 1st year is elected as the President while D.Sheshasai Preethi and Milton Raja were elected as Vice Presidents, Janaki Ram as General Secretary, D.Akhila as Joint Secretary, N.Sumanth and K. Shesha Chary as Organizing Secretaries.

Principal Dr. M. Sitamma, TITA General Secretary Ashwinchandra Vallaboju, TITA BYTE Chief Editor Ramesh Podishetti, TITA Executive Member Venkata Vanam, CS HOD, Sharath and others participated in the event.
