New Update

Awadhi biryani, gilawati kebabs, basket chat and Akhilesh Singh's swearing in as the new UP CM awaited The DQWeek staff as they reached Lucknow. Add to this, the excitement generated amongst the local IT dealers by the latest in the series of Tech Caravan that saw the congregation of more than 65 partners at Hotel Maple Leaf in Hazratganj.

The local partners belonging to the Lucknow Computer Vyapar Mandal located at the city's IT hub Naaza Market turned up in droves to discuss challenges facing them and also to interact with vendors looking to offer their newer solutions into this market. According to leading partners like Praveen Khanna of Coolex Infosystems and Sandeep Saxena of The Guys Computers, warranty replacements on time remain the biggest challenge impacting partners here. And most leading vendors including the likes of Intel and Samsung are culpable in this regard. Another problem affecting the local market is some channel partner masquerading as a vendor by importing a few products and subsequently doing a vanishing trick.

Vendors like ESET, Portronics, Uniline and Tech-com associated with Lucknow Tech Caravan as sponsors. ESET elaborated on its various partner schemes, while Portronics presented its plethora of interesting products like portable projectors, scanners and even smart TV converters. Uniline UPS showed its USPs while Tech-Com displayed its peripherals. While Akhilesh was appointed the UP king, Tech Caravan also won many hearts in UP.
