Tata Indicom launches handset for Rs 999

Tata Indicom, tele­com service pro­vider anno­un­ced the launch of Go
Mobile — Go LG offer. Under this offer, the LG 2535 Maxima mobile handset is
available at Rs 999 with a standard pack of seven days validity and initial talk
time of Rs 50.

Additionally Tata Indi­com customers also have the option of selecting their
own tariff plan from various pre-paid plan options. Abhijit Pal, Circle
Operating Officer, Kolkata Circle, Tata Teleservices Ltd said, “It has been a
constant endeavor at Tata Indicom to provide our consumers the best services and
products at most affordable prices. We like to provide the customer with the
widest choice of value in terms of features, services and cost. I am confident
that Go Mobile — Go LG offer will receive tremen­dous res­ponse from entry
level consumers of all socio-economic sec­tions of society in urban and
semi-urban towns. With the launch of the Go Mobile — Go LG offer, we plan to

telephony.”

The LG 2535 Maxi­­ma is a classic, sleek, high-reso­lution black and white
phone with poly­pho­nic ring tones and new features like Hindi SMS and group
messa­ging. It is powe­red by Tata Zone, through which the cons­umer now gets
a wide choice of ring tones to download. One of the key features in the LG 2535
is 'Call reject SMS', which sends a personalized messa­ge automatically if
the customer is busy and wishes to reject the call.
