Tata Indicom appoints Sogo

Tata Indicom has appointed Sogo Computers as its distributor in Karnataka
region for its USB modems.

Speaking about the tie-up, Dinesh Nair M, GM, Sogo Computers said, “Our
collaboration with Tata Indicom will help us provide wireless solutions to every
nook and corner of Karnataka. We are targeting minimum 500 customers every
month.”

The explosive growth of laptop usage in Karnataka has driven the need for
wireless LAN to increase its distribution capacity. With this tie-up, Sogo is
aiming to have a wider reach in the region.

“We are planning to widen our market capacity shortly. Today the awareness
level among end users, SMEs and corporate is increasing, and due to this, we can
look forward to increased sales to meet our target in last quarter of this
financial year,” added Dinesh.

The company is currently distributing products of Dell, Sony, Canon, WeP, AOC,
Mercury and Simmtronics. These new products will give Sogo's partners and
customers a complete range of mobility solutions.
