Tandberg to acquire Codian

Tandberg has announced the acquisition of Codian for $270 million.

The acquisition, subject to conventional closing conditions, is
expected to close in Q3 2007. According to a Tandberg statement, Codian's
experienced R&D and sales teams give Tandberg access to additional resources
for accelerating technology innovation and capturing current opportunities
within core markets -video-conferencing and telepresence-as well as help it
targeting new opportunities in the broader IP communications marketplace.
