Taiwan Pavilion attracts visitor's attention in E3

Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the world largest game show took place on
May 10, 2006. Three major game console companies presen­ted next generation
game console products and Microsoft's game development unit had the largest
booths. Funtown of Taiwan Giga­media Corporation will release 'Mahjong' this
summer vacation and Softstar Entertain­ment Inc's 'Rich Man' will start trial
at the end of 2006. Game console software and hardware compa­nies are always
the main exhibitors of E3. Also present at the exhibition were NCsoft, WEBZEN,
etc. The aim of these Korea exhibitors is to seek opportunities for exporting
their products. The Asia online game is gaining popularity in Europe and
American markets too. A large number of Taiwan software com­panies made it to
the Taiwan Pavilion to attend the exhibition this year.
