founded in 1996 to represent the computer dealers' industry of
the Mumbai metro region has been ranked # 1 by the IDC IT Channel
Association study, this year. This is a hattrick by the association
that has been bagged top notch for the third time in a row. TAIT is
run by an elected body of the Board of Directors and represents more
than 300 IT channel partners, that include distributors, resellers,
system integrators, and software and networking companies. It has
been ranked significantly high on both analyst evaluation and members
feedback. The parameters that cater to bringing TAIT to the top of
the charts include elections, internal meetings, awareness programs
and Website updation.
Speaking to The DQ Week on
getting the top rank in the coveted IDC IT Channel Association
Study-2010, Girish Rathod, President, TAIT said that regular
business events helped TAIT to chart the top rank. "Activities
like seminars, new product launches, exhibitions and new initiatives
with the recent Microsoft genuine software, also contributed to
maintain the top position," he said. According to Rathod, the
association also organizes stress management activities and financial
programs in order to improve logistics efficiently. Rathod believes
that, the information sharing is now moving towards the Web.

the website. Today, every organization should understand and adopt
the online platform to reach out to community and people, in general.
