Mumbai based Trade Association of Information Technology (TAIT) has kick started its flagship event COM IT Expo. The three day technology show will be held during 8th-10th October, 2015 at Bombay Exhibition Hall, Goregaon. This year the expo has showcased latest technology offerings in Information Technology, Mobile Technology and Security and Surveillance.
Champakraj Gurjar, Chairman of COM IT Expo said, “Like every year, this year also COM IT Expo has created a lot of buzz in the market. We received an excellent response from vendors and we hope for the same response from visitors. Tech Savvy people will get an opportunity to experience, hi-tech and modern technology innovations under one roof.”
The major highlight of the three day technology show is the Taiwan Exchange Forum which with the collaboration with TAIT displayed next generation technology offerings at the expo. Taiwan Exchange Forum has showcased around 180 ICT products in the event.
Michael Lin, director of Taipei World Trade Center Liaison Office, said, “COM IT expo is one of the biggest ICT expos in India and this is a very good platform for us to exhibit our innovative offerings.”
Around 63 Taiwanese companies including Acer, Asus, HTC, TP Link etc. have showcased their products in Taiwan Exchange Experience Zone. On the question of manufacturing opportunity in India, Lin said that Taiwanese industries were keen on manufacturing in India. However, they seek policies and incentives from the government of India.
