TAIT announces new committee

A premier IT trade association of Mumbai, Trade Association of Information Technology (TAIT) had held elections wherein the agenda was to appoint the new committee and board members. Apart from this, the association members discussed the industry trends and upcoming events.

Post the elections, TAIT has announced the names of office bearers. The new board includes Rushabh Shah of Graham Informations Systems as President and Parag Sha of Futech Computers as Vice-President. Krishnakumar Chaube of Techlink Infoware will now take up the role of General Secretary along with Pravin Dhoka of Ortek Computers who will take up the position of Treasurer. Furthermore, Champakraj Gurjar of Maxtone Electronics, Prakash Shah of Allied Digital Services, Bimal Jhaveri of Hardtrac Computer Services, Vikram Mehta of VR Infotech and Vivek Gandhi of Software Mart have taken up the responsiblity of being the directors. In addtion, Nikesh Sakaria of CDP (India), Ajay Parekh of Shreemaat Computers and Rahul Zaveri of Apex Enterprises have been brought on board as co-opted directors.

TAIT earlier in this year in association with vendors have conducted numerous events for the facilitating trade and educate channel partners. For instance, the associated vendor list includes Panasonic, Microsoft, Western Digital, Kaspersky, Cyberoam NetGenie wherein some events were inform of SI meets while others were toward introducing partners to newer market trends, products and educational.

In addition, the association had earlier issued its updated TAIT Services Rate chart 2012 has been circulated across the IT channels wherein the new rate charts were more comprehensive and included new sections.
