Sybase ties-up with CMC to extend its reach

Sybase, an enterprise infrastructure company, has tied-up with CMC Ltd to extend its technology, enterprise products and services to corporate customers in India and within Asia Pacific region. This partnership would benefit medium and large corporate customers and broaden service base in India and Asia Pacific region. 

The partnership would enable CMC to build IT solutions around the enterprise software, technology and business infrastructure capabilities from Sybase.

SS Ghosh, MD, CMC said, "We are sure that this significant partnership would give CMC and Sybase a synergy of strengths in creating appropriate solutions for medium and large corporate customers, particularly with our focus on offering
value-added services in certain core business areas."

R Ramannan, Deputy MD, CMC and Mark Wang, Senior VP and GM (Asia Pacific), Sybase, signed the partnership agreement. Sybase is expecting a growth of 30 percent after this partnership. 

The company grew at a rate of 26 percent in India in 2001. The company has been delivering IT solutions to enterprises in India since 1989 and presently serves over 2,000 customers in India.
