The DQ Week Tech Caravan reached the city of Amravati, which is the seventh most populous metropolitan area in Maharashtra. Apart from having historical landmarks in the city like the temples of Amba, Shri Krishna and Shri Venkateshwara, it is also the administrative hub for neighbouring districts including Akola, Yavatmal, Buldhana and Washim. Interestingly, Amravati Municipal Corporation, established in 1983, is the first Municipal Corporation in India, which has introduced privatization of octroi.

At the Amravati Tech Caravan meet, almost 45 partners attended the event, held at the city's Hotel Mehefil Inn. Some of the key issues, like the service and support problems, emergence of large format retail related issues among others, were discussed at the event.

The local channel partners associated with Amravati Computer Dealers Association (ACDA) turned up in a significant number to discuss the current market trends and challenges faced by the community. The panel discussion drove the interactive conversations. The discussion kicked off with the subject of service and support problem, which is one of the key pain areas for partners in this region, followed by many queries raised by the audience which were duly noted and addressed by the panelists.

Vendors like Norton, Fortinet, Uniline and Western Digital associated with Amravati Tech Caravan, also attended the event. Fortinet was presenting to the audience for the first time through this platform wherein the company representative announced a schemes for partners. While Norton presented its latest security solutions and announced both consumer and partner schemes.
