SWAFE aims to strengthen market position across APAC

SWAFE aims to touch a turnover of Rs 10 crore by the end of 2009 and plans to
reach the Rs 50 crore mark by the end of 2010. To achieve these targets the
company now aims to strengthen its position in India as well as the APAC region.

Speaking about the company, Shailendra Vashisth, MD, SWAFE said, “Being new
in the power management domain, we are now expanding our presence across the
country. SWAFE is a start-up company which provides infrastructure and
technology solutions. We are in the field of building end-to-end solutions for
network-critical physical infrastructure and printing solutions across various
verticals. Our main objec­tive is to help customers save on energy consump­tion
by 20-30 percent.”

Elaborating further on the solutions offered by SWAFE, he said, “The
solutions provided by us are a blessing for our customers. We help individuals
identify the opportunity in building energy-efficient and cost-saving solutions.
Besides offering solution in managing power utility, we also provide
consul­tancy, energy auditing and data center management services. We do the
audit, look at the areas where energy is being underuti­lized and accordingly,
provide consultancy and recommendation.”

SWAFE also provides its solutions to customers who already have an IT
infrastructure and helps them in auditing the energy consumed.

“It becomes our responsibility to modify or change the infrastructure so that
customers can avail maximum amount of energy saving. As a system inte­grator, we
help them to built data center infrastructure design, network design and
implement the same respe­ctively. We also provide printing solutions and
document management, facility infrastructure and power solutions,” Vashishth
added.

SWAFE deploys the projects on its own as well as in partnership with vendors
like IBM. “We are a vendor-neutral company. We supply products of all the
vendors, whatever is preferred by are customers,” he said.

SWAFE is primarily focusing on banking, insurance, IT, ITeS and service
sectors that includes media and transportation.

It has presence in six locations namely Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad,
Ahmedabad and Singapore. The company has service centers across 30 locations and
plans to establish 50 service centers by the end of 2009 and 150 service centers
by 2010.
