Sunil Pandita joins Autodesk India as country head, AEC business

Autodesk India has appointed Sunil Pandita as head of architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) business, India and Saarc region. Pandita will be responsible for driving Autodesk India’s strategy to foster growth in this fast growing and dynamic segment. Globally and in India too, AEC is amongst the fastest growing industry segments for Autodesk.

An IT industry veteran with over 15 years of experience, Pandita has had successful stints with Adobe, IBM, and HCL. His capabilities include strategic planning, sales and business development, marketing, and alliances.

Commenting on the appointment, Ajay Advani, sales director, Autodesk Asia said, "India is a must-win market for us. Our clients are at the heart of the massive surge in infrastructure development here. We are thrilled to have Pandita on board. He brings a wealth of expertise which will prove invaluable to serving our existing customers and helping us acquire new ones."

Expressing his thoughts after joining Autodesk, Pandita said, "Autodesk enjoys an incredible reputation in the AEC space. It's portfolio of products and customer base is unmatched. Pandita holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from BITS, Pilani, and an MBA in marketing and finance from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune. He has been a regular presenter, keynote speaker, and panelist at various IT industry conferences.
