SunGard Availability Services has introduced its Recovery-as-a-Service (RaaS) in India on a pay-as-you-go service model.

With the newly launched RaaS, the company is targeting the medium and large enterprises by making SLA-driven recovery timeframes for their mission critical IT operations affordable.

SunGard Availability Services has been operating in India for three years and RaaS is fully managed by SunGard Availability Services, and is designed to take full responsibility of the entire recovery process with skilled operations staff driving solution deployment.

On the importance of the India market to the company Keith Tilley, EVP EMEA & APAC, said, "SunGard Availability Services has been a pioneer in the recovery and continuity arena for over 30 years.
