Sun joins hands with Redington

Sun Microsystems India announced that it has appointed
Chennai-based Redington (India), as a value-added distributor for India.

Sun Microsystems, through this partnership, is gearing up for
the next phase of its market growth and expansion plans in the country. With
this announcement, Sun and Redington will now offer the opportunity to sell
proven Sun products and solutions to partners across 450 cities in India,
targeting major growth industries in addition to a large base of SMBs.

Redington is a distributor of IT products and supply chain
solution provider that includes non-IT products, and involves the management of
inventory of greater than 4,000 SKU (stocking units) while transacting business
with over 10,500 channel partners globally. Redington represents more than 35
leading global brands covering product categories.
