Many inquires were also registered for degree courses as well as other
technical/job oriented courses, offered by YCMOU and HCL Career Development
Center, who had their stalls at Comp-Ex.

The first Summer Comp-Ex was held in June last year with just about 20
stalls. This time, the number of stalls increased and a much larger venue had to
be chosen. “We witnessed a much better response compared to previous year. This
year the number of visitors also doubled and we were able to demonstrate our
products, answer customer queries in an efficient manner. This was made
especially possible as space was not at all a constraint,” expressed Dinesh
Gupta of Datatronics Systems, Nagpur.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, VCMDWA provided stalls to the
Nagpur Collectorate for providing online validation/updation in the Electoral
Voters List and also making instant Voter ID cards. “I am very happy to say that
during the expo, thousands of citizens took the benefit of this wonderful
facility,” said Prashant Ugemuge, President, VCMDWA.

The Best Stall Awards at Comp-Ex is awarded to the participants, who not only
decorat there stall the best way possible, but also displays their product
efficiently and handles customer inquiries promptly. Shreyas Infotech won the
2nd price in this category and the top honors went to Vidarbha Infotech.

“We are extremely thankful to all the stall holders, participants,
contractors, media partners, VCMDWA members and visitors for their overwhelming
response to Summer Comp-Ex. We hope that this is the beginning of a long
tradition in the history of VCMDWA,” remarked Ugemuge.
