STG sets up SW development center at Hauz Khas

Software Technology Group (STG) has embarked upon a major expansion of its software operations. The company has set up its new offshore software development center at Hauz Khas, New Delhi. With the opening of the center, STG has met one of the objectives of the public issue. The 80 man center which is fully operational, is equipped with the facilities to support the offshore development needs of international clients.

STG's software development division is focused on providing high quality Internet and e-commerce applications. The company has recently bagged a Rs 84 lakh project from Army Embarkation Headquarters. The software solution envisaged provides a completely integrated solution for all their different functions. The software architecture also provides for an integrated work flow system. The entire project is based on Visual Basic, SQL Server, ASP and MS Exchange.

Besides, STG is also currently providing a supply chain focused B2B solution based on Java for Delphi Automotive Systems. The company is also executing a Rs 30 lakh workflow-based Billing Management System for Gas Authority of India Ltd (GAIL). This system is based on Java and Oracle 8i and will be integrated with GAIL's Financial Management System, which was earlier developed and successfully implemented by

STG.
