Start ups exhibit next Gen technology solutions at CeBIT India 2015  

The second edition of CeBIT India 2015 successfully concluded in Bengaluru on Saturday, 31st October, 2015. Over 100 MNCs, SME and MSMEs, states IT heads , delegates and around 10, 000 visitors participated in the three day global IT show.

On the theme D!Conomy (The Digital Economy), the CeBIT India 2015 brought digital solutions marketplace under a single one roof, paving the way to India’s Digital India vision. The event also brought together global and Indian audiences to discover new businesses and innovative technology possibilities thereby steering India closer to its goal of digital transformation.

More than 170 CXOs and CIOs from various industry verticals, including traditional sectors like BFSI, Defence, Retail, Agriculture and Aviation participated in the event to discuss and understand the networking and digital solutions that can shape the future of their businesses.

State-run Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) had partnered with Hannover Milano Fairs India to provide a platform for nearly 100 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to mark their presence at CeBIT India 2015 to showcase their products and solutions.

Various start ups showcased their cutting edge technology solutions in the event such as GPS enabled applications, cloud computing applications, motorbikes incorporating innovative automation technology and a human resources mobile app linking job seekers and employers through GPS etc.  From the participating MSMEs, 10 enterprises were shortlisted for participation in the premier CeBIT Hannover 2016 in Germany to propel their access to global markets.

The state of Kerala participated in the CeBIT India 2015 as the Digital Foundation Partner. CeBIT India 2015 had housed a special pavilion Kerala showcasing the state's IT capabilities. The state IT department also promoted its “Digital India” vision in the event.

"We are happy to partner with CeBIT for the second time, after a successful association last year. Through the show's global platform, we hope to play a significant role in the Digital India campaign, and generate more than 40,000 direct and over 1.6 lakh indirect employment opportunities," said Girish Babu, CEO, Technopark, Kerala in a statement.

Telangana minister for IT and Panchayat Raj K. Taraka Rama Rao T. K. Ramachandra, IT secretary, Tamil Nadu and Ajay Kumar, additional secretary, Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) also promoted its “Make in Telangana” vision in the event.

“Telangana is promoting IT in an entrepreneurial & strategic way, by creating innovative institutions like TASKTS & T-Hub. Thanks and I hope we all grow; Hyderabad and Bengaluru & India as a whole good progress. Wait for some big announcements soon”, said, KT Rama Rao.

CeBIT is the world’s largest and most prestigious international computer expo.
