Sri Durga is Microsoft service partner in TN

Bangalore-based subdistributor Sri Durga Computech Pvt Ltd is the new service
partner for Microsoft in Tamil Nadu. The development came in the wake of Bi-Tech
being removed from the status following their poor performance. Recently
appoin-ted as the aggregator for Microsoft in Tamil Nadu, Sri Durga is slated to
open its branch office shortly.

"We will be the maintenance and service partner for Microsoft in Tamil
Nadu. The recognition is a shot-in-the-arm for the company which recen-tly
bagged the distributorship for the same region," said Sanath Babu,
Director, Sri Durga Computech Pvt Ltd.

The company has been the main distributor for Microsoft in Karnataka and had
been performing well for Microsoft. "We want to repeat our partnership and
success in Tamil Nadu with Sri Durga. We appointed them as an exclusive
distributor for this region. We have appointed Mahavir Com-puter Spares as the
reseller," said Mohit Anand, Country Ma-nager, Microsoft Corporation.

Sri Durga Computech will appoint three to four volume partners in the State
to imp-rove the Microsoft business and currently it is in talks with the channel
partners for the same.
