Sparsh, the first India based company to manufacture CCTV cameras and a leading supplier of electronic video surveillance products and solutions, launched 'Made in India' series of DVRs developed with technology partner Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) at the World's largest Security Exhibition held in Beijing, China.
In yet another landmark, Sparsh became the first company in India to launch 4,8 and 16 channel designed and developed DVRs based on TI's DaVinci DM8107, which received a lot of appreciation from the visitors.
Sanjeev Sehgal, MD, Sparsh stated "We are very excited about our relationship with TI and getting the next generation video surveillance products to the market. We believe the flexibility and scalability of the DaVinci DM8107 technology will allow us to bring more advanced surveillance products and solutions developed in India by us which would offer best in class security at affordable prices. We are expanding our products and solutions to better address the next generation video surveillance needs."
"The DM8107 video compression engine can achieve more than 200% better compression efficiency to market standard, bringing unparalleled video quality to Sparsh's customers," said Sean Murphy, director, marketing, video security business, TI.
"With this compression efficiency, half the storage is required to save data and half the bandwidth is needed to transfer the data without spoiling the quality of the image, which is essential when putting a video security system in place," explained Sparsh's product manager, Sumit Behl.
