Spark appointed as north India distributor of RAD

Delhi-based Spark Technology & Testing Pvt Ltd has been appoin-ted as the
distributor of RAD products for north India by Mro-Tek. RAD, an Israel-based
datacom company, as Banga-lore-based Mro-Tek as its manu-facturer in India and
is also its national distributor.

Said S Nautiyal, Director, Spark Technology, "We have been appointed
north India distributor for their entire range of products." He reaso-ned,
"RAD is a leader in data-com products, occupying 70 percent of the market
share. Therefore, it was a good oppor-tunity for us to be associated with
them."

Spark will now cover the areas of Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, UP, Uttaranchal,
Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. As far as after sales service is
concerned, it will also be provided by Spark, but online and technology support
will be provided by Mro-Tek.

Being a major player in networking, jumping into datacom is a part of
capturing new markets. "Datacom is a growing market and we keep exploring
new markets and feel that this is the need of the market today," commented
Nautiyal.

The company is basically targeting the government, defense, state police etc
and claims to have already acquired some major projects from the Indian army and
the air force.
