SP Summit salutes solution provider excellence at Kuala Lumpur

Honoring the solution
partners for their exceptional performance during the last FY, DQ
Channels
presented the Channel Excellence Awards 2011 at Kuala
Lumpur, in the same venue where the href="https://www.dqweek.com/sixth-sp-summit-kicks-off">6th
SP Summit was held. Taking a break, away from
the traditional norm of award categories and sets, style="font-weight: normal;">DQ
Channels
gave away the awards in three categories;
namely-Solution Champ Awards, Regional Rajas and the traditional
format of recognizing top solution providers and system integrators.

The decision to revise the
award categories was taken primarily on account of the changing time
and the evolution of the SP business keeping in pace with the
evolution in technology and the changing role of the SPs and SIs. In
the 'Solution Champ'
category of awards, 12 SPs achieving glory were awarded in 11
technologies. Frontier Business Systems bagged the award for
Networking, Gemini Communication for Unified Communications, Team
Computers for Business Intelligence while ECV Infotech bagged it for
Automated Services.

Associated Business
Computers got the award for Infrastructure Management, Allied Digital
for Security Solutions, Artek Enterprises for Structured Cabling,
Precision Infomatic for Storage Solutions, Trifin Technologies for
Software and QuantM Net Technologies for Cloud Computing. However,
the much-hyped award for Managed Printing Services was jointly bagged
by Quadsel and System Tech.

Following the traditional
set of awards and adhering to recognizing SPs based on their revenue,
portfolio, growth and deployment capabilities, a total of six awards
were given under three sub-heads. Sai Infosystems bagged the award in
the 'gold' category for being the 'top solution provider', followed
by Allied Digital in the 'silver' category.

In the 'gold' category,
for being the 'fastest growing solution provider', the award was
bagged by Velocis Systems while the 'silver' category of the same
award was bagged by Omnitech Solutions. Under the 'gold' category for
best deployment, Wysetech System Technologies emerged as the winner
for while Pranaav Tele-Ventures followed suite by getting its
'silver' counterpart.

SP Summit this time
recognized local talents, irrespective of region or presence, based
on the growth and SP capability. Coining to the term 'Regional Raja',
this set of award comprised the last category. Under the newly
introduced section, Velocis Systems bagged the award from the
northern region, Precision Infomatic from the southern region while
Orient Technologies got the recognition from the western region.
