South associations to support protest against LBT

Following the regional associations and national body like ISODA rendering support for the protest against LBT issue, associations from South India has extended their support for the cause.

Nalin R Patel, President, Association of Information Technology- Bengaluru (AIT), said, "On Behalf of AIT - Bengaluru we extend our wholehearted support for movement against ‘No Octroi and No LBT' which has started by our Maharashtra Fraternity.If your problem persists and if strike continues for longer time, we will also go on one day strike during next week as a token of support." He also mentioned that if required the Bengaluru association is ready to join hands with the neighboring association to work out joint strategy to support from south India IT Fraternity for success of your ongoing movement.

S Karthikeyan, president, South India Information Technology Association (SIITA), said, "We understand the hardship faced in business by our Maharashtra fraternity due to Octroi and LBT. We, at SIITA, are ready to extend our fullest support and co-operation for your movement against Octroi and LBT." He also mentioned that Muthiah Pillai, President, Confed-ITA has expressed his whole hearted support for movement against Octroi and LBT.
