Sony zooms ahead with 'Windfall Offer'

Sony Electronics today announced a new DVD Writing Promotion program for

India.

Under this exciting new program aptly called "Sony Wind Fall

Offer," channel partners will get one Logitech Cuzco Optical Mouse worth Rs.

1000 free with purchase of two internal Sony DVD writers DRU-720A, which

features five high speed DVD Writing formats. The offer is available nationally

through 36 Rashi branches and Sony Authorisd Partners (SAP).

As per Hemvardhan Shah, Product Manager Sony at Rashi Peripherals, "The

offer will boost the channel partners confidence to sell more as now selling

Sony DVD Writer is even more profitable."

Further commenting Hem said, "Worldwide Sony was the first to launch the

Dual Format DVD Writers and has always been a market leader since then."

Sony is only DVD Writer offers free replaceable black bezel to match black PC

casing. Sony's DRU720A offers writing speed of 16x DVD+R/-R, 4x DVD+R DL

(Double layer), 8x DVD+RW and 6x DVD-RW.

The offer is available all over India and is valid from April 1—15, 2005.

Also Sony has recently introduced External SONY DVD writer DRX-720UL. It

features same speed and is with dual interface USB 2.0 and ilink, expected soon

in Indian markets.
