Supertron's premium brand Solitaire is on a steep rise as the company's new
launch has recorded a whopping 80 percent rise in sales on a month-on-month
basis across India.

Solitaire is looking forward to increasing its channel base further
especially in the northern and western sector. The company in this new
initiative has already appointed Saboo Computers, Supreme Technologies and
Berlia Compu System as its distributors for the Bengal region.

Speaking on the success of Solitaire, VK Bhandari, Director, Supertron
Electronics Ltd said, “Solitaire is a distinguished brand meant for premium
users. It comes with a quality assurance and the brand has already received an
excellent response from Kolkata, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Pune and Chennai. Now, we
are on our move to take Solitaire to a new high.”

Despite having been launched two months ago, Solitaire has over a dozen
products in its portfolio. Commenting on the sales and the market response of
Solitaire, Vinay Dugar, CEO, Supreme Technologies said, “Solitaire is a very
good product line. Unique in all aspects with good quality assurance, there is
little competition in the market in the segment of premium product. The brand
has already received a very good response from the end-users especially in the
product line of casing and mouse.”

Supertron's main brand Supercomp has already established itself as a major
player in the IT segment of the East. Now, with the launch of Solitaire, the
company is quite optimistic about the future. Solitaire has been one of the few
enterprises in India, which restrained from increasing its price in times of the
global slowdown. Having the manufacturing units in China, the company has been
quite successful in maintaining its cost ratio thereby keeping the price steady
in times when all hardware and accessory prices rose by around 12 pecent across
India.

“For the time being, we are not focusing on increasing sales. Since, we are
stressing on quality, we believe that Solitaire will automatically gain momentum
in the market if the channel community accepts the product. Hence, we are
looking at increasing our channel base,” Bhandari added.
