dealers association,

conducted its second AGM on June 19
at Mamalla resorts, Mamallapuram, near Chennai. At the meet, the
association decided to conduct its election by the end of July this
year. However, the exact date has not been finalized, as per sources.
The AGM was sponsored by Dell.
According to
R Kumar, secretary, SNEHAM, “The meet was a great success. More
than 125 members attended it. During the meet, we briefed our members
about the structure of the association. Moreover, each board member
expressed his thoughts and educated its members about the advantages
of having a local association.” Chander Kothari, VP, SNEHAM, talked
about the advantages and the need for having an association, while,
Tejender Singh, joint secretary, SNEHAM, spoke about the scenario of
the IT business in the past fiscals. He also urged the members to
cope up with the changing business circumstances. Meenatchisundaram,
treasurer, SNEHAM presented the annual account of the association for
FY 2011.
During the
meet, delegates from Dell explained about various products like new
generation laptops, change of lids in laptop and Alienware products.
Speaking on the occasion, Ajay Kale, a Dell official, explained the
merits of participating in such channel empowerment programs and
urged the members to upload the sales data of Dell products on the
official website for getting rewards. An event management team also
organized games, music, and other cultural activities for the
participants during the AGM.
