Network has

forayed into motherboard business by launching a brand called

DIGILITE. Under DIGILITE, the company has launched 7 motherboard

models. These include 3 from AMD platform, 1 Atom bundle and 3 from

Intel platform.

KR Naik, executive

chairman, Smartlink said, “We were among the early entrants for

manufacturing motherboards in India. Equipped with technology,

expertise, experience and sophisticated manufacturing capabilities,

we are now re-entering the motherboard market with DIGILITE brand,

which we are confident will be another successful brand from the

house of Smartlink.”

Rajan Sharma, AVP,

Smartlink said, “We believe that with our brand equity, strong

distribution partners, quality channel and pan-INDIA coverage, and

direct post-sales support, we can make a significant impact in

motherboard market in India. It is a robust business volume-wise, as

desktop penetration is still lower compared to many

developed/developing countries. Like other Smartlink products,

DIGILITE motherboards will set new benchmarks for reliability and

deliver great value performance proposition to customers, reducing

the 'total cost of ownership'.”

The company has advanced

manufacturing capabilities, quality control and has a vast experience

in the manufacturing and supply of motherboards to the top OEM/SI

customers in India.

DIGILITE motherboards will

be serviced and supported by DIGICARE. DIGICARE has strong nationwide

RMA service network of 64 service centers and pick-up services across

non-ASP locations.
