Small towns get new associations : Namakkal forms new association

Channel partners in Namakkal have formed an association named Namakkal

District Information Technology Association (NDITA). An election was held on

recently which was attended by 28 members. Ravichandran, CEO, Surya Software

Services, was unanimously elected as President and Raja Venkatesh, CEO, Ram

Computers, was elected as VP.

The asso­ciation will be inaugurated by PN Prasad, President, Confed-ITA;

Muthuswamy, Secretary, Confed-ITA; Vinod, Treasurer, Confed-ITA; Kuberan, former

Joint Secretary, Confed-ITA and Selvasekaran, former President, CAMS (Madurai).

Other office bearers include Kanakaraj, CEO, Tara Systems, who will function

as Secretary and Subramaniam, Abi Computers will be the Joint Secretary, while

Rajagopal, Namakkal Computers will act as the Treasurer. Ravichandran,

President, said, “The association will work on four objectives-unity,

professionalism, motivating members to


have long-term business objec­tives and profitability.”

The association has plans to conduct seminars with Confed-ITA members keeping

the partners in the region abreast of the issues plaguing the channel community

and the effective ways to address such issues.
