SITA, South Gujarat Information Technologists Association, hosts IT Expo every year but due to the non availability of Vanita Vishram, Ground, South Gujarat Region, last year the association could not make it up, but SITA is back with the new theme for IT Expo’17.
The association is looking after improving the overall quality of the IT trade and industry by way of constantly upgrading its members and society with the latest technology and upcoming trends by way of organizing exhibition consecutively since last 20 years. Since it started in 1997 which was named as PC-Expo-97 has became IT-Expo by covering more and more aspect of changing scenario in IT.
This year the association is following ‘Digital India’ theme. This year the focus will be on all the technologies and solutions related to Digital India. The reason behind keeping this theme is clear as after demonetization, consumers are motivated to adopt technologies to promote Digital India.
“Participation is expected across software, IT, ITes, CCTV, banking, wallets, finance and taxation verticals,” said Unnat Mehta, Chairman, Expo.
According to the Chairman, there will be ample opportunities to exhibit and promote products, technologies and solutions for exhibitors.
“There will be a touch of smart city solutions also this year,” Unnat added.
SITA is doing IT Expo from 20 years consecutively. Every year SITA facilitates more than 150 exhibitors and serves around a lac visitors during Expo. Exhibitors are usually for 4 days on weekends. This time it will be starting from February 10 and will last up to February 13, 2017.
There will be special corner for Digital India Apps and Digital India Selfie.
