SITA gears up for festive season

South Gujarat InformationTechnologist's Association (SITA)
will hold a cultural program at the Agresen Bhuvan in Surat on October 26 to
celebrate the festive season. Ketan Patel, President, SITA said, "We have
not gone for any sponsors, and the event will be fully funded by SITA. We hope
to make it a grand success with full cooperation from 210 SITA members."

The program will start by 7 pm in the evening and would
continue till 12 am in the night. The evening will commence with Ras Garba
followed by skits, which shall be performed by children. Sumptuous dinner would
be served at the event.

Patel said, "Leading principals like HP and Intel will
also be invited. Distributors like Ingram Micro, Redington, eSys, SES, Rashi
Peripherals and Neoteric Informatique would also be present at the event."

All of the 23 members of the committee will personally
distribute the invites to all the members, vendors and major principals. Help
from other members who are not part of the committee will also be taken for the
same.

SITA's annual promotional event-Laptop show - Mobility
2007 was recently held for the fourth consecutive year. Patel said, "About
10,000 end-users turned up for the three-day event. More than 150 laptops of HP, Toshiba, Sony etc were displayed at the show," he added.
