Simple ties up with Zyxel for wireless products

Delhi based Simple has tied up with Taiwan based broadband access solutions
company, Zyxel. Simple would be importing and distributing, ZyXEL’s wireless
product range including access points, USB wireless LAN, PCMCIA and PCI wireless
LAN.

It would also be serving all customers’ need of ZyXEL’s products on
back-to-back order basis. Within a quarter after the product portfolio is edged
with complete range of wireless products i.e. 802.11b, 802.11g series then
gradually many other ZyXEL’s product would also be added.

Currently, distribution would be done through existing Simple’s channel
partners. In a step towards generating market awareness for upcom-ing wireless
products.

Initially, a bundle offer would be offered to resellers, which would be
targeted to end-users. It would be an entry-level access point+USB wireless LAN
and priced at Rs 6,000. Reckoned for replacement warranties all over India,
Simple will backup ZyXEL’s range with one-year SWAP guarantee.

ZyXEL, headquartered in Taiwan was founded in 1989 as a modem developer, is
now into a comprehensive range of networking solutions for a more broadly
defined customer base including larger enterprises and service providers. It
also has offices in US, Europe and Asia.
