Simmtronics ties up with Nvidia

Simmtronics Semiconductors has tied-up with Nvidia, to launch Intel motherboards
integrated with Nvidia's GeForce 7 class graphics processing unit (GPU).

Acording to a Simmtronics statement, Simmtronics' first mainstream
motherboard based on the new Nvidia GeForce 7-series mGPU (motherboard GPU)
platform for Intel processors raises the overall performance of the PC in even
common applications like Google Earth, iTunes7 and Picasa.

The statement further said that this new motherboard from Simmtronics and
Nvidia also takes advantage of Nvidia's PureVideo technology, which ensures
smooth, crystal clear and vibrant movie playback. The integrated DVI and HDMI
port and 7.1 high-definition audio subsystems translate to user benefits like
single-wire connectivity to big LCD TV.

The board supports 1333MHz FSB, DDR2 Memory (800/667/533 MHz). Further, these
motherboards from Simmtronics are loaded with advanced 3D graphics and video
features as well as full support for Microsoft Direct X 9.0 and Shader model
3.0.

SIMM-NV-7100i has in-built Marvel Gigabit LAN providing high-quality
connectivity, and Dual Bios, which prevents Bios from firmware or viral damage
providing double security to the motherboard.

Indrajit Sabharwal, MD, Simmtronics Semiconductors said, "We are excited
to launch this innovative product as this happens to be industry's first
motherboard with Nvidia's graphics capabilities for Intel CPUs."
