Simmtronics launches XPAD tablets in India

The tablet offers great connectivity over Wi-Fi and comes with 3G USB dongle port for connectivity on the go

After its successful launch in Middle East and GCC countries like Saudi, Qatar, and UAE, Simmtronics now have decided to introduce the XPAD tablets in India. The company will be launching a series of XPAD tablets and smartphones for the India market.

Speaking to The DQ Week, Indrajit Sabharwal, MD, Simmtronics said, "In our strategy to reach out to our audience with most innovative products, we have launched XPAD X-720 which features Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 with capacitive multi-touch screen. We are launching four models of the tabs at the price point of Rs 4,600 upto 10,000."

Taking into account the various needs of the Indian consumers, XPAD X-720 has been made in Simmtronics' factory located at Greater Noida, with a capacity of 4 lakh units per month.

The tablet offers great connectivity over Wi-Fi and comes with 3G USB dongle port for connectivity on the go. It works on A13, Cortex A8, 1.0 GHz processor which gives faster computing experience. It has gravity and accelerator sensors which support Android Gravity games and support thousands of applications to download.

The XPAD X-720 will soon be available in all leading stores along with e-commerce websites at price point of Rs 4,600.
