Silverline implements POS for Hang Fung

At the Hong Kong Jewellery & Watch Fair, Silverline Technologies Ltd, an international software development and integration services firm, has announced that it has implemented point of sale (POS) and order-processing systems for Hang Fung Gold Technology Ltd, a Hong Kong based specializing in gold and silver jewellery, ornaments and giftware manufacturing.

In October 2000, Hang Fung was only three months away from opening its 3D-Gold Tourism Exhibition Hall, which was expected to serve over 10,000 visitors a day. Silverline designed, developed, and implemented a POS system in time for the opening in January 2001. Following implementation of the POS system, Silverline designed and developed a customized sales order processing system for Hang Fung's sales order processing operations. The system was developed in Silverline's offshore development center in Chennai, India and is being implemented currently. The solution was delivered with a multi-cultural team and application was implemented bi-lingually in English and
Chinese.
