Sierra Atlantic launches manufacturing CoE in Hyderaba

Sierra Atlantic has announced the launch of manufacturing Center of
Excellence (CoE), at its global development premises in Hyderabad. The center
will specialize in offshoring enterprise application management for discrete and
process manufacturing companies.

The manufacturing CoE applies Sierra Atlantic’s NShore methodology for
offshore application management and draws upon best practices, tools and
processes honed over a decade supporting the needs of manufacturing companies
including Ciena, Stratex Networks, Network Appliance, Hempel Coatings and many
others.

According to the press release, this center unites project managers with
direct manufacturing experience and software consultants with a strong
familiarity with the enterprise applications manufacturers most often employ–supply
chain management (SCM), product lifecycle management PLM) and enterprise
resource planning (ERP) suites–to provide services ranging from business
consul-tation to application development, implemen-tation, customization,
upgrades, maintenance and support.

easily under-stood by professionals with direct experience in the field,"
